This is a plain-English privacy policy. No legal jargon, no walls of text. Here is what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you use canva-to-html, we collect two things:
- Your email address. This comes through Stripe when you pay. We use it to find your order if you need support.
- The URL you convert. We need this to do the conversion. We store it in your Stripe payment record so we can look it up later if something goes wrong.
That's it. We don't ask for your name, location, phone number, or anything else.
Payment data
All payments go through Stripe. Your card number, expiration date, and CVC go directly to Stripe's servers. We never see them, store them, or have access to them. Stripe's privacy policy covers how they handle your payment information.
Your converted files
When we convert your site, the resulting files are stored temporarily so you can download them. We delete these files within 48 hours. We don't keep copies, and we don't look at your content unless you ask us to help debug a conversion issue.
Tracking and cookies
We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking service. We don't set cookies for advertising or analytics. The only cookie-like storage we use is a small item in your browser's local storage that remembers your payment session so you can retry a failed conversion without paying again.
Third parties
We don't sell, share, or give your data to anyone. The only third party that receives your information is Stripe, for processing your payment.
Data deletion
If you want us to delete your data, email us and we will take care of it. There isn't much to delete, but we are happy to do it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page. We won't send you an email about it because we don't have a mailing list.
